We are again experiencing higher rates of staff absence than we would normally expect at this time of year.
We have therefore had to take the very difficult decision to request that all Year 9 students should therefore remain at home on Thursday 23rd June and all Year 8 students should remain at home on Friday 24th June.
The situation will be monitored daily and if there are any changes to these arrangements we will inform parents immediately.
Just to emphasise, whilst at home, students should continue to access their usual lessons via their Google Classrooms which should have key resources and assignments available for them to learn from during the day.
All other year groups should attend school as usual.
Please be assured that this decision has not been taken lightly and we have tried to do everything to avoid this scenario happening again, but we have no alternative.
