With a new school term comes a new edition of the Humanities magazine. Over the Spring term, the team have been researching anything relating to the history, geography and religion of the Isle of Man.
What’s more, with the help of Mrs Parr, we organised a competition with some of our feeder schools: Cronk Y Berry and Willaston. Year 6 pupils were asked to write a short article about anything relating to the Isle of Man and we were beyond impress with the efforts made by each student. Our winners of the competition were: Laurie, Parker, Paloma-Grace from Willaston and Sophia and Meenakshi from Cronk Y Berry! Find all entries at the end of the magazine.
We have been lucky to have new additions to the core editing group – Jericko Jiminez and George Jerram. They have been crucial in adding to the magazine and George designed the front cover. Finally, we would like to dedicate this edition of the magazine to Zoe Konieczna Jansen Van Vuuren - a powerhouse in our editorial team who will be sorely missed as she starts her new adventures. Best of luck!
