A vibrant, energetic, Mathematical morning well spent with Y11 students! The session was an opportunity for Y11 students to get an insight into the sort of work that crosses over from their GCSE into AS Level Mathematics before starting the course in September. Activities ranged from individual work to groups of six, and tasks included finding counter examples to given statements, proving the correct answer with algebra, and coaching in pairs. The students were a joy to spend the morning with; they were motivated and brought along a positive attitude. We look forward to welcoming them officially in September!
