St. Ninian's High School celebrated another hugely successful Sports Day as students from Years 7, 8 and 9 came together for an afternoon packed with competition, teamwork and house spirit.
Following a week of field events, throws, jumps and 1500m races completed during Games lessons, the whole school gathered on the Lower School field for a fantastic afternoon of track events and fun competitions. Students proudly represented Brennan, Isdale, Kermode and Knox, competing in the 100m, 200m, 800m, mixed relays, sack races, three-legged races and the ever-popular tug of war.
The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was outstanding. Students embraced the opportunity to support their houses, cheering on teammates and creating a brilliant spectacle from start to finish. The event showcased not only some excellent athletic performances but also the encouragement, sportsmanship and house pride that are such an important part of sport at St. Ninian's.
Competition remained close throughout the day, with points being accumulated from every event held both during the week and on Sports Day itself. After all results had been added together, Isdale House were crowned overall champions with an impressive 836 points. The afternoon concluded with presentations to the winning house and a celebration of another memorable Sports Day.
Congratulations to every student who took part. The effort, determination and respect shown throughout the day made Sports Day 2026 another outstanding success and a fitting celebration of sport at St. Ninian's High School.
