With some very tired eyes, we set off bright and early from Douglas aboard the Manxman, ready to begin another exciting Universities Visit. On arrival in Heysham, we were delighted to be reunited once again with our fantastic drivers, Darren and Steve, who were superb in getting us loaded up and on the road in no time. Our first stop was Lancaster University, where Jacob and the team gave us a brilliant introduction, with an informative presentation followed by a tour of the stunning campus – the perfect way to kick off the trip. We then travelled to Edge Hill University, where it was great to see Chris, Tom and the team again. After an engaging talk about life at Edge Hill, students explored the campus, enjoyed a quick snack stop, and then checked into their accommodation. Once settled, some of the lads headed to the gym while others made the most of the glorious sunshine, patiently awaiting their Uber Eats and Deliveroo deliveries. After a well-earned evening meal, everyone turned in for an early night to recharge. Day 2 awaits… and with another early start on the cards, we'll need all the energy we can get!
