This week the Sixth Form Debate Club were debating the issue of the abolishment of the monarchy. Both sides made some persuasive arguments along the lines of the monarchy representing an outdated and unfair social system, against the benefits of a non political figurehead and the gains in tourism revenue.
After a some great discussion form the the floor the vote was tied. Looks like the Monarchy are here to stay, but for how long?
