On Friday, Sixth Form students learnt about becoming potential lifesavers as part of a campaign by the Anthony Nolan Trust to educate young people about blood, organ, and stem cell donation.
Anthony Nolan runs a register of potential stem cell donors and matches them with blood cancer patients in desperate need of a lifesaving stem cell transplant. The charity works with NHS Blood and Transplant to run The Hero Project education scheme, which delivers presentations to 16-18 year olds across the country.
