On Thursday 7th November 16 students in Y12 and Y13 took part in the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge.
The Senior Mathematical Challenge is a 90-minute, multiple-choice competition aimed at students across the UK. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. We are looking forward to finding out who has been awarded a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate and whether anyone has scored highly enough to progress to a follow on round, the British Mathematical Olympiad or the European Kangaroo.
