To raise money for our chosen Year 7 charity, Manx Blind Welfare Society, 7F tasked themselves with a 'readathon' challenge.

Students were encouraged to spend at least one hour a day reading, gaining sponsorship from family and friends to give up their leisure time. In school, students gave up ‘Fun Friday’ Tutorial to immerse themselves in a fictional world of excitement, adventure or mystery. This was a great opportunity for students to ‘unplug’ from their devices and rediscover the joy of reading.

The grand total raised by 7F was £87.70, with a special mention going out to the top fundraisers: Poppy Gerrard, Toby Horsey, Chloe Lees, Maria Moore, Reuben Russell-Dunn, Toby Thompson and Faith Wynn.

Thank you to our 7F tutor team of Miss Cleverley and Miss Edmondson for organising.
