The Year 7 Zentangle group raised £65.10 just before half term in aid of Down's Syndrome Isle of Man.

The students made Pumpkin Corner bookmarks and Hogwarts Houses bookmarks for Halloween, which they sold at break and lunch time. They also ran a ‘How many sweets in the jar?’ competition.

Lucie Dolman, representing the charity, came in to accept the cheque and spent some time talking to the students about Down's Syndrome and how the money will go towards supporting parents who have children with the condition, enabling them to be involved in training and trips.

Year 7 Zentangle Club takes place on Tuesdays in S206 with Mrs Hunter – all Year 7s welcome.
