Students are empowered to think for themselves, make decisions and take responsibility for their own learning and future.They are encouraged to think about how they learn best and develop their own skills and strategies to help them learn.Students are able to talk about their learning and are consulted by staff on how lessons can be developed so that learning can be improved.

Staff are also empowered to think for themselves, make decisions and take responsibility for their own career development. They are encouraged to be brave, be innovative and develop new ideas to develop their lessons and enhance learning.
