Between the 14th to the 16th September, the Geography Department took 29 Year 11 students away to Malham Village in the Yorkshire Dales. The trip is usually for year 10s, but the current Year 11s had missed out due to Covid. They have also been putting a great deal of effort into their work. The trip was brilliant with the students learning about what a national park is like, how an upland farm works, what tourist attractions there are, such as Inglebrough Cave, and finishing off looking at Liverpool and settlement zones.
Excellent enthusiasm and behaviour along with great weather gave us a wonderful trip. Thanks to Mr Hennessy, Miss Powell and Mrs Aldridge for their efforts and the support staff who helped make the trip happen.
