Last week we were delighted to host the St. Ninian's One World Centre Charity Challenge Final. It was a great evening, reflecting months of research, advocacy and fundraising from each from the groups. The teams, representing, The Bouncing Ball Trust, Bees Abroad, The UK Langa Township Pre-School Trust, and Tree Aid gave informative presentations and we are pleased to announce that the team representing Tree Aid were awarded first place and will now represent St. Ninian's at the island final at Mountain View Innovation Centre in Ramsey. The other teams will each receive £150 for their respective charity.
Thank you to the judges, Miss Ainsworth, Miss Strickett and Mr Coole, who had to reach a very difficult decision. Thanks also to Helen Kneale, from the One World Centre and to Mrs Donaldson and Mrs Crellin for co-ordinating the Charity Challenge teams.
