The senior team started off their basketball season facing the westerners from QEII. It was an exciting game and a win was taken for SNHS. The game was definitely won on brilliant defensive pressure, allowing us to crash the boards and obtain numerous defensive rebounds alongside some steals. Two key players in this defensive pressure were Harry Callin and Luca Parlato.
The senior basketball team had their second match of the season this week against RGS. They had another fantastic game and really worked well together as a team. The baskets were dropping and again an outstanding defence enabled us to get down to the offensive half and score the important points. Lex Madey and Jack Wilkinson both had great games this week, offensively and defensively. Also, a well done goes to two new recruits from Year 10 that stepped up and slotted well into the team, Rowan Coulter and Oliver Hamilton.
