On Tuesday evening, Miss White was invited to attend the launch of Sporting Club Manx Youth Games at the National Sports Centre. The event was attended by representatives from sport across the Island, as well as the Lieutenant Governor, Chief Minister and Minister for Education, Sport and Culture.
Two of our Year 8 students, Brody and Jude, spoke about their own experience with the Manx Youth Games starting as competitors at age 7 and progressing to become junior coaches within cricket. The boys spoke with incredible passion and enthusiasm as well as great confidence in front of a large audience. We are very proud of them!
Gareth Lloyd from the Manx Youth Games has been in Lower School this week to launch the event with students in Key Stage 3.
