The Senior Football team continued with their good results with a win against King William’s College. The Saints won 6-2 with goals from Eric Hill (2), Nathan Little, Greg Kelly, Deaglan Blake and Ryan Nelson. Only 2-1 up at half time, the boys had a stellar second half and won comfortably in end.
In last week’s game against Ramsey, in the sunny north, the lads worked very hard and came away with a 1-1 draw. Ramsey had the first big chance from the penalty spot, but the ball struck the crossbar. They did take the lead however, and the game looked destined to finish 1-0. But with the last kick of the game, Jonah Kenny capped off an excellent performance with a long-range strike that squirmed under the Ramsey keeper’s body to save the boys-in-red and we came away with a well fought point. Nathan Little was man of the match with a controlling display from centre back.
