The Year 8 boys have had a great half term of Football starting with a 3-0 victory over Ballakermeen for the A team. We then played King William's College, the game started slowly with SNHS struggling to find their feet in windy and wet conditions. Aaron Costello broke the deadlock with a neat turn and finish but other than that we created little up until half time. The second half was a different story with SNHS back to their best, passing the ball around KWC with their usual fluent style - KWC could not match us for speed. Aaron completed a hat trick, with Gabe Campbell adding two and Max Klechinskis adding another.

Our trip to Ramsey resulted in 3 great wins by our Year 8 boys - conditions were windy and wet and it was tough on the RGS grass pitches, but the boys battled hard and the results were as follows: A team won 5-1 (Leon Waddington, Gabe Campbell 2 and Aaron Costello 2), B team won 4-1 (Max Wardle 2, Rhys Beckley and Luke Campbell) and the C team won 3-1 (Brooklyn Mottram 2 and an own goal).

The boys once again walked away with 3 wins from 3 during our trip to QEII. In very cold conditions the A team won 5-1, the B team won 17-0 and the C team won 8-4.

The boys have played extremely well and behaved impeccably all season - well done boys.
