Last night we were delighted to host the St. Ninian's One World Centre Charity Challenge Final. It was a great evening, reflecting months of research, advocacy and fundraising from each from the groups. We are delighted to announce that the team representing Street Child was awarded first place and will now represent St. Ninian's at the island final at Mountain View Innovation Centre in Ramsey. The other teams will each receive £100 for their charities
The charities who will benefit from this are:
- Womankind Worldwide
- Disability Africa
- Ethiopiaid
- Advantage Africa
- Chain of Hope
- Bees Abroad
- Pahar Trust Nepal
- Pump Aid
- Koru Hospital Fund
Thank you to the judges, Mrs Kishore, Miss Strickett, Mr Coole and Mr Macgregor, who had to reach a very difficult decision. Thanks also to Wendy Shimmin, from the One World Centre and to Miss Salway and Miss Steele for co-ordinating the ten Charity Challenge teams.
