The Year 7 football teams continued their fine season on Wednesday with some more excellent results against Castle Rushen High School. The A team played particularly well, displaying some superb football. The defence were dominant all game, giving away few opportunities to their opponents. The midfielders and forward players controlled possession, showed creativity in attack and pressed high without the ball. There were some fantastic goals scored and it was a real highlight of a performance in our last whole school football fixture of the year. The other teams had some close games with good results and it was again fantastic to see over 40 boys out representing St. Ninian’s with pride. This year group have been very impressive all year in both their attitude and ability, and they have lots to look forward to within Sport and PE at St. Ninian's High School.
