Mr Cretney has recently been appointed as our new Head of Year 7 for September 2018. He has been a teacher at St. Ninian's High School for 12 years, working as a Computing Teacher, Assistant Faculty Leader for the last 4 years, and more recently Assistant Head of Year 11. Mr Cretney grew up on the Isle of Man and enjoys sport, having represented the island in badminton, football and swimming. He is a big Everton fan and can play the guitar and piano.

As Head of Year 7, Mr Cretney will support the students in their transition to secondary education and will encourage them to maintain high standards of behaviour and enthusiasm for their learning as they move forward with new and exciting challenges.

Mr Cretney is looking forward to building positive relationships with both parents and students so that Year 7 pupils fulfil their potential and achieve great success.
