Representatives from Manx Telecom were in school this week to present Year 8 Core Skills students with prizes for their hard work during their Manx Telecom Enterprise projects.
As part of the 10 week project, students were interviewed by a panel of business experts about their ideas and the skills they had learnt.The winning teams were Fazzle Tazzle, from 8B who made an earphone tidy out of wooden pegs, Shades for Dayz, from 8E who sold fun sunglasses and NNLEA Blackboards, from 8H who made custom made mini wooden blackboards. The runners up were The Kippers who raised over £100 for Manx Cancer Help with their Orienteering event.
There was also a special mention from the judges for Kiera from 8B for her hard work as the best Entrepreneur.
