On Wednesday and Thursday of Activities Week, our Year 7s enjoyed a trip to the Wildlife Park. Our pupils were able to see the conservation programmes in action preserving and helping endangered animals in wetlands. They saw other large species including cats, birds of prey, primates and meerkats too. Students took part in a nature trail (winner to be announced in assembly on Friday) and also a session where the pupils saw live invertebrates and reptiles, looking at adaptation, biodiversity, animal classification and conservation. Other attractions in the park, including the bouncy pillow, were also very popular. All staff and pupils on the trip had a wonderful time in the glorious weather. Special thanks to our Year 12 helpers and Miss Salway for organising this visit.
