On Sunday 9th September our Head Girl, Georgia Foxton, overcame her fear of heights and completed a tandem skydive from 15,000ft at Skydive Hibaldstow Airfield in the UK. The predominant aim of this challenge was to fundraise as much money for Cancer Research UK as possible, with Georgia aiming for an initial target of £1000. Georgia chose this charity as she has recently lost family members to cancer and still knows people who are fighting it; this fundraise was a gesture of support to them.

After completing the skydive, Georgia's fundraising total actually came to just over £1,300. Georgia said she was overwhelmed and grateful for all the support she had received.
