Many thanks to Junior Achievement and all the volunteers from the business community who were in school yesterday working with students to help them to understand how to apply for a job.
Topics covered included: what employers look for when reviewing a job application, developing transferable skills for the workplace, what to include on a CV, finding and applying for a job, preparing for an interview, body language, questioning techniques and how to follow up after an interview.
At the end of the programme students were able to watch an interview video and select which candidate should be offered the job.
A really useful day for our students - thanks to all involved.
