The Debate Committee were pleased to welcome some new speakers at the last debate to discuss the motion, 'This house holds that free will is an illusion'. The resulting discussion and opening speeches were very well informed and really encouraged those present to think hard about the choices that we (think) we are making, and the possible consequences for individuals and society if free will is in fact an illusion.
