During Year 9, some students study a novel in English lessons which covers the topic of homelessness. As this opened up discussions about homeless numbers on the Isle of Man, they discovered that the charity Graih were running and supporting a homeless shelter in Douglas and were in need of some food donations. Mrs Donaldson held a Year 9 assembly on homelessness and students were asked to bring items into school to help. On Friday 12th July, Michael Manning from the charity, Graih, came into the school to collect the donations.

Many thanks to Kiera Griffiths, Emma Williams, Adam Daugherty, Phoebe Rawson, Emily Brennan, Sophie Priestnal and Natasha Harris-Burland for supporting this project and to Mrs Donaldson for organising this.
