Last week we were delighted to host the St.Ninian's One World Centre Charity Challenge Final. It was an interesting evening, reflecting months of research, advocacy and fundraising from each from the groups. The teams, representing Drop Inn Ministries, Global Action Nepal and Thare Machi Education, gave informative presentations and we are pleased to announce that the group representing Thare Machi Education were awarded first place and will now represent St. Ninian's at the island final on 25th March at Mountain View Innovation Centre in Ramsey. The other charities will each receive £200.
Thank you to the judges, Miss Ainsworth, Mrs Shipley, Miss Strickett and Mr Coole, who had to reach a very difficult decision. Thanks also to Sarah Comish, from the One World Centre and to Mrs Donaldson and Mrs Crellin for co-ordinating the Charity Challenge teams.
