On Thursday 13th August our Year 13 students received their A Level examination results. Despite all that the students have had to endure and some issues with the exam board grading, they have done extremely well and the vast majority received excellent results. Our grade distribution is as follows:
A*-A: 17%
A*-B: 42%
A*-C: 72%
A*-E: 95%
What is even more important are if our students are able to continue with their chosen pathways. On that front it is brilliant to see that fifity-two of our students have taken up a place at their first choice university and one student at their second choice university. Seven students have chosen to defer their offer to the following year, seven students have secured a place on their chosen course at UCM and twenty-three students have chosen to go straight into employment. There are still are small number of students who have yet to have confirmation of their chosen pathway and the Sixth Form Team are in school today helping those student secure these.
All of us at St. Ninian's are extremely proud of our students and the manner in which they have coped through this most difficult of times. Their resilience and fortitude will stand them in good stead as they look to commence the next chapter of their lives and we wish them all well in their futures. We are here for you at school so if there are any queries about results or pathways please do not hesitate to get in contact with us and we will try and help.
