Mrs Parr, our Transition Co-ordinator has enjoyed engaging with the Year 6 teachers at Onchan School as they facilitate a SOLE (Self Organised Learning Environment) session about the big question “Is there a difference between a leader and a dictator?”
This week she returned to Onchan with Mr Mason and Miss Reid who delivered an Art and History lesson based around the outcomes of the SOLE. Mr Mason combined world leaders and dictators with the art style of Andy Warhole and Miss Reid encouraged students to think about the leadership of King John.
All the students engaged well and the SNHS staff were amazed by the thinking and work produced.
