As you will no doubt be aware, we have recently been notified that 2 members of our school community have tested positive for COVID. Having consulted with Public Health and the Department of Education, Sport & Culture, we have been advised to temporarily suspend any activities where our students mix with those from other schools. Unfortunately this means that the Welcome Days planned for this week had to be postponed.
We intend to re-schedule the Welcome Days for Thursday 15th and Friday 16th July and the same arrangements will apply. Students should wear their Primary School uniform, but please wear trainers and clothing suitable for some physical activity. We would be grateful if you could bring a pencil case with pen, pencil, etc. for use during the day. Students should report to the front doors from 8.30 am where they will be asked to wash their hands as they arrive. Staff will be in the main entrance to welcome and direct everyone.
Please do not forget to send in £7.00 dinner money with your child and ask them to keep it safe until it is collected from them. Students are welcome to also bring their own water bottle which can be topped up throughout the days in school.
If you have any questions regarding Welcome Days, do not hesitate to contact Mrs Parr, our Transition Coordinator by e-mail to snhsenquiries@sch.im
Please accept our apologies for having to postpone the event but we are looking forward to welcoming them to St Ninian’s on 15th and 16th July.
