This morning Year 13 students who had applied to study a further A-level, the Extended Project Qualification, attended a workshop covering the key skills required to be successful.
We were delighted to have a local librarian, Stacey Astill, deliver a session on how to efficiently research using Google Scholar and also the variety of referencing and citing methods available. This was greatly appreciated.
Students are now able to make a good start to their research over the summer holidays to gauge the viability of their initial ideas, and spend quality time securing their decision for a topic.
We look forward to their return in September to hear of their progress.
