On Monday we were delighted to welcome Ali Vondy from Manx Minds who trained 25 of our Sixth Form students to be Mental Health First Aid Champions.
The scheme, which has been kindly sponsored by Tower Insurance, trained students to have knowledge and confidence to provide Mental Health First Aid for the most common mental health issues. The aim is to challenge stigma and support positive wellbeing in themselves and their peers.
