On Tuesday we held our Year 13 Life Skills Day which was organised by Miss Sharpe, in consultation with students, to cover aspects of life and living which they felt to be relevant to their future. Sessions included management of personal finances, cooking on a budget, positive mental health strategies, basic self-defence and First Aid, focussing on the use of defibrillators.

The day finished with a short talk by PC Griffiths and PC Moore on how students could keep themselves safe when out at night.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Lloyds Bank, Isle Listen, HeartStart, Gracie Barra, Mrs Freegard and the police for facilitating such a useful day.
