This week's motion and the final one for 2021 was “This house holds that cannabis should be legalised”
There were very detailed and well researched speeches from both sides, exploring arguments relating to cannabis as a treatment for cancer and epilepsy, to the concerns regarding mental health problems caused by cannabis use. After questions from the audience the vote revealed resounding support for the motion.
