Last week’s Debate Committee met to discuss if ‘everyone should stop eating meat”.
There were many interesting and informative arguments presented by both sides, with particular focus on the impact on the farming industry.
After detailed speeches and comments from the floor the vote resulted in the motion being lost by a clear majority.
Once again, thank you to all of those who participated, especially our speakers. It was great to get the new year off to such a strong start.
