SNHS students had a brilliant day on on Friday at the UN Model Security Council. This year the issue to be resolved was the ongoing crisis in the South China Sea. Students prepared and delivered opening statements, then go stuck into negotiation with the other countries’s delegates, and finally were able to agree a resolution at the end of the day.

Well done to the students for all their hard work and enthusiasm. Team Vietnam received an ‘honourable mention’ from the judges and David Cowin was awarded the prize for the best individual for his leadership and negotiation skills.
