Last Tuesday the Year 12 Geography students visited Douglas beach to survey the beach profile and stone sizes. This work introduced them to their Year 13 'coasts' section. With the information, they will identify what processes are occurring on Douglas Beach. They will then need to find sustainable solutions to manage any coastal erosion and overtopping along with preparing for sea level change in the future.

This work culminates with collaboration with Douglas corporation. The trip concluded with ice creams on the prom!
