This week was the last sitting of the Debate Committee for 22/23 before students leave to take their exams.
We ended on a controversial but timely topic “This house holds that cancel culture has gone too far’.
There were excellent informative and persuasive speeches from both sides, and lots of points from the audience.
After voting, the motion was carried.
Thank you to the Debate Committee for all of their hard work in hosting a very successful year of debates. We wish them luck in their exams and future plans, and hope they put their well honed debating skills to good use!
