Year 7 students have been on a remarkable fundraising journey for Arlo's Adventure, a charity they chose to support this year. Arlo's Adventure focuses on two important causes: aiding Manx residents receiving treatment in the UK and supporting bereaved families dealing with child loss or pregnancy loss.
The students organised a series of fantastic events, including a Valentine's Delivery Service, Cake Sale, Penny Battle, Sweets in a Jar, Guess the Eggs, and a Mystery Box Raffle. Combining these efforts with their Epraise point donations, they achieved an impressive total of £870.01!
Adding some friendly competition, the Tutor Group with the most engagement in their fundraiser, 7H led by Miss Broadway, won tickets to FC IOM's opening day fixture. We were delighted to welcome former SNHS student and FC IOM star, Sam Baines, to present the tickets. Thank you to Sam and FC IOM - wishing the Ravens all the best for a great season!
Kudos to Year 7 for their outstanding dedication and enthusiasm. Together, they've made a significant impact on Arlo's Adventure, supporting those in need and leaving a positive mark on their community. Keep up the fantastic work!
