Last week our Year 13 Geographers produced three great presentations on trying to find a sustainable solution for erosion and tourism in Douglas Bay. All groups came up with very different ideas which they had been working over the last few weeks of the summer term in Year 12. They also visited Douglas Beach to collect their own data to highlight processes occurring on the beach including Longshore Drift. We were lucky enough to also have the company of Charles Guard from Culture Vannin and Andy Crook from Douglas Corporation who asked the groups questions.

The Geography Department are super proud of what the Year 13 produced and how well the SNHS showcased their talents to two knowledgeable and prominent people.
