This year the Geography Department took away 30 year 11 students for a 3 day visit to Malham in the Yorkshire Dales, visiting Liverpool on the return. The students were not only treated to sailing on the new Manxman, but due to flat seas, they even had a display of dolphins surfing the waves on the way.

The weather was changeable, but didn’t destroy the spirit of the trip. Limestone features were studied along with tourist villages and they even went underground in Inglebrough show cave. On the return, the group went up Radio City Tower in Liverpool and saw how the city changes as you drive through it.

Thanks to Bus Vannin for providing the buses and special thanks to Mrs Aldridge, Miss Laporte and Mr Kelly for supporting the trip.
