On Friday, October 13th, we welcomed our former student, Matthew Ogden and his colleague, Michael Hughes, both from KPMG. They provided an in-depth talk on careers in accountancy and auditing and the multitude of routes on how to get there. It was fantastic to see Matthew back at SNHS, explaining to our students his route into KPMG and various internships he completed before taking a full time role. Michael also spoke about the opportunities that KPMG provides to its employees and various exam’s needed to become an officially qualified auditor. Both Matthew and Michael spoke about the opportunities to travel with the company and the numerous roles available to undertake. It was wonderful to welcome Matthew and Michael into school to speak to our students; we are extremely grateful for both for giving time up to talk about the A Level Graduate Scheme and the application process.
