Congratulations to George Kewley in Year 8 who received a highly commended award in the education category of the UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man Awards, presented on 11th October.
George is pictured receiving this from His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, Sir John Lorimer. As ‘The Bug Boy’, George teaches fellow young people about the value of insects in our ecosystem. He received the award in front of a 100-strong audience and was also interviewed by Howard Caine, event MC, about his good work.
