The girls finished second in the Island Senior Hockey Finals. However, they were all still smiling after the hard-fought game. It must be said that the girls have been a pleasure to teach/coach the entire season and are a credit to themselves and SNHS. They’ve showed perseverance, encouragement and enjoyment throughout the whole season. There were many highlights across the season; a special well done goes to Poppy Gerrard who experienced being goal keeper for the first time and had an incredible season in net, being voted player of the match numerous times. Amelia Owen also had a brilliant season being a crucial defensive team mate, making some exceptional tackles throughout the season. Macey Crellin had a fantastic season playing at centre half working extremely hard with great tackles and then weaving her way into the attacking half and helping control the tempo of the game. I would also say a massive well done to ALL the girls for their brilliant performances.

They all need to be extremely proud of themselves. We’re already looking forward to next season and to build on what is already a strong team.
