Thursday 10th May saw our Year 9s take part in a full day of PSHE based activities. Sessions throughout the day were led by the Police, Youth Justice Team, Youth Service, The Physical and Emotional Health Education Officer and school staff. The aim of the whole day was to equip our students with the knowledge they need to make informed, safe choices around potentially risky situations. They covered topics such as substance misuse, youth produced sexual imagery, bullying, sexual health, the impact of anti-social and criminal behaviour and passenger and vehicle safety. All of our students enjoyed the day and we are very grateful to the professionals and agencies who gave up their time to come and present.
