Year 7 had the pleasure of hosting Isle Listen during assembly this Tuesday.
Building on the success of Tough Mucka last year, Juan Christian, Community & Fundraising Manager at Isle Listen, addressed our students, announcing the event's return in October 2024 for those aged 15 and above. In addition, Juan unveiled the exciting news about Tough Mucka Jnr and The ManX Games, planned for July, targeting young people aged 10-14.
These junior events offer an excellent opportunity for our young students to challenge themselves, foster relationships, and build resilience while supporting Isle Listen's ongoing mental health initiatives in our schools. Stay tuned for more details on these events, which will be released soon.
Ste Downward, Schools Team Lead at Isle Listen, also revisited the valuable sessions held earlier this year, focusing on relationships and friendships and their role in supporting mental health.
Furthermore, I was proud to hear our visitors' positive remarks about the warm welcome and engaging conversations they experienced from the Year Group.
