Thursday 15th August was A Level Results Day across the Isle of Man and the UK. Our Year 13 students have achieved some amazing results with a fifth of all grades awarded being A*/A grades and our overall pass rate being over 99%.

Of those that were seeking to take up a place to study at university, the vast majority have been accepted at their first choice of university with some others accepting their second choice or, having opted to enter the clearing system, then securing a place on a course at another institution. Our Head of Sixth Form, Mr. Schofield and members of the Senior Team have been available throughout the remainder of the week to offer and help and support for any students requiring it.

All of us at school would like to congratulate our students for their success and to state if any students or parents still require any further advice or support to please get in touch with use here at school.

Important message from Department of Education, Sport and Culture for those students taking up a place at university:

We hope that you get the results you want and that Thursday 15th August is a celebratory day for you but please don’t forget to send us your results and UCAS AS12 confirmation letter as these are important for us to be able to process your application. Any delays will have a knock-on impact on your confirmation of award letter. Results should be sent in photograph or scanned formats – please remember to include your name in the email title.

Please email results to: SAresults@gov.im or send to: Student Awards, Hamilton House, Peel Road, Douglas, IM1 5EZ
