Well done to 9A and their tutor Mrs Barber who raised £231 in aid of MNDA. One of the tutor group, who had been personally affected by this condition, suggested supporting the charity and they unanimously agreed. Mrs Barber contacted Christine Pain (the secretary for MNDA) who came and spoke to the class about the disease and the work that they do to help. She suggested a sponsored silence as the ability to speak is one of the things that sufferers lose. Well done to the students who took part in any way and all those who supported them financially.
