We are very pleased to announce that there will be an Upper School production of David Almond’s ‘Skellig’ on 2nd, 3rd and 4th July at 7 p.m. in The Upper School Drama Studio. ‘Skellig’ is Almond’s adaptation of his own novel and tells the story of 12-year-old Michael who moves house only to discover what he believes to be a homeless man hiding in the garage. As Michael’s baby sister becomes desperately ill, he soon realises that whatever is in the garage is far more than just a man and may have the power to help his sister recover. The play has a cast of Year 10 and Year 12 students, but there are also some surprise appearances from one or two members of staff too! Tickets cost £5 and are available from the Upper School office.
