Just the second day back to the new school year, the Geography department including Mr Kelly from PE, took 30 students to Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. The trip included walking around attractions in the national park, a visit to a Inglebrough show cave and identifying zones travelling into Liverpool. The highlight for many pupils on the trip (apart from Mr MacGregor’s jokes) was visiting Tennants Gill Farm and meeting Margaret who runs an upland farm. For many students this was their first independent trip away and a great deal was learnt both in Geography and general life skills.
